Dr. Mor Itzhak-Vitman is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies. She earned her PhD from Bar-Ilan University, where she completed her dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Ze'ev Maghen. Her research examined domestic public discourse in Iran surrounding the nuclear agreement (JCPOA) and its implications, focusing on the period between the agreement's implementation in 2015 and the death of former President Ebrahim Raisi in May 2024. Through content analysis of social media discussions, the study revealed how online discourse played a central role in shaping a new form of political society within the Islamic Republic and influenced state-society relations.
