Ronen Yitzhak

Prof. Ronen Yitzhak is a researcher at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies at Tel Aviv University and head of the Department of Middle Eastern Studies at the Western Galilee College.

His research areas include the modern history of Jordan, military, intelligence, and terrorism, as well as the 1948 War (War of Independence). Prof. Yitzhak is a member of the Board of Directors of The Middle East and Islamic Studies Association of Israel (MEISAI).

He is the author of the following books: Cooperation and Hostility: Abdallah, The Arab Legion and the 1948 War (Magnes, 2006, Hebrew); Security and Political Challenges in Reality's Test (Editor, Bar-Ilan University, 2012, Hebrew); Abdullah al-Tal - Arab Legion Officer (Liverpool University Press, 2012).
