Steven Schmid

Steven Schmid was one of two 2007 AMSITAU recipients. During his time at the MDC, Steven worked on two projects under the supervision of Prof. Asher Susser. The first project was entitled, "Religion as aspect in the thought of four Arab nationalist ideologues: Jirji Zaydan, Zaki al-Arsuzi, Sati al-Husri and Constantine Zurayk," while the second project studied the Jordanian monarchy's attitude toward the Palestinian territories,  as reflected in the Jordanian press.
