Bruce Maddy Weitzman was interviewed by two French media outlets regarding Israeli relations with Morocco.
Below are the interviews:
Le360, June 20, 2023 - "Between Morocco and Israel, the old taboos have disappeared"
"The long-held taboos in the Moroccan-Israeli relationship no longer exist. The relationship has expanded rapidly in a host of areas, and publicly, Nonetheless, Morocco cannot entirely ignore bad optics in the Israeli-Palestinian sphere, as witnessed by the postponement, again, of the meeting of the Negev Forum countries, which is supposed to be held in Morocco."

Le Monde, June 24, 2023 - "West Bank settlements cloud normalization of relations between Morocco and Israel"
"The coalition gathered around Binyamin Netanyahu is a very militant government, extreme right, at least for some of its members; it is embarrassing and does not sit well with the Moroccans."
Regarding the question of Israeli recognition of Moroccan sovereignty over the Western Sahara, which Morocco would like to see: "Israel has always supported the Moroccan position in practice, not just diplomatically but with concrete assistance. Until now, Israel has preferred not to take a public position in order not to place itself in conflict with the efforts of the Secretary General of the United Nations, who is trying to mediate on the issue."
