The Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Professor Bernard Lewis, z"l. Professor Lewis was one of the foremost scholars of the modern Middle East, a true friend of the Moshe Dayan Center, and a treasured teacher for so many of our researchers who had the privilege of knowing him. We extend our most heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.
