On 24 May 2017, the Sephardi Voices Project was officially launched as part of the MDC's Program for the Study of Jews in Arab Lands. The SV Project will enable the collection, archiving, and cataloging of thousands of oral histories from those who were forced to leave their homes in Arab countries in the years following the establishment of the State of Israel.

The Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies is now accepting applications for the Doron Halpern Fund for Middle Eastern Studies.
