Turkey and Israel in 2017 - Where from here?

On 18 January 2018, the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Tel Aviv University will hold a memorial symposium in honor of three former TAU students who fell in battle defending Israel. The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Hay Eytan Cohen Yanarocak, and will provide an evaluation of Israel-Turkey relations in 2017 and attempt to map future directions. On Tuesday, 2 January 2018, the Moshe Dayan Center will host a symposium dealing with the history of political change in Egypt. The symposium is being held in Yaglom Hall, the Senate Building, from 1800-1945.

Consequences of the Six Day War on Middle Eastern and African Jewry

On Sunday, 31 December 2017, the Moshe Dayan Center will hold a symposium in partnership with the Central Organization for Jews from Arab Countries and Iran, the Ben-Zvi Institute, the Ministry of Social Equality, and the Ministry of Education. The symposium, held as part of the MDC's Program for the Study of Jews in Arab Lands, will examine the effects of the 1967 Six Day War on the Jews of the Middle East and North Africa. In Hebrew.

On 8 November 2017, the Moshe Dayan Center will hold its annual Moshe Dayan Memorial Symposium. During the symposium, Maj.Gen. (res.) Uzi Dayan will deliver a lecture entitled, "The Israeli Cultural and National Identity," while Dr. Eitan Shamir will lecture on the strategic theory of Moshe Dayan during the Six Day War.
