The Palestinians at the Middle Eastern Crossroads: Where from Here? (Hebrew)

On 5 January 2017, the MDC for Middle Eastern and African Studies will host our annual symposium in honor of three TAU students who were killed while serving in the Israeli Defense Forces. The lecture will be given by Dr. Harel Chorev, with opening remarks by MDC Director Prof. Uzi Rabi. In Hebrew.

Identity, Citizenship and Integration - Minority groups in Germany and Israel

On Wednesday, 21 September 2016, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Israel and the Konrad Adenauer Program for Jewish-Arab Cooperation at the MDC for Middle Eastern and African Studies will hold a round-table conference entitled: "Identity: Citizenship and Integration: Minority Groups in Germany and Israel."

From al-Qaeda to the Islamic State: The Legacy of 9/11 (in Hebrew)

On Wednesday, 11 September 2016, The Konrad Adenauer Program for Jewish-Arab Cooperation at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies, Tel Aviv University, will hold a lecture entitled, "From al-Qaeda to the Islamic State: The Legacy of 9/11," given by Prof. Uzi Rabi, Director of the MDC. During the event, scholarships will be awarded to outstanding Jewish and Arab students of Tel Aviv University.

Screening of "Salam Neighbor" (31 July 2016)

A discussion panel and film screening of the documentary "Salam Neighbor" will be held on 31 July 2016 from 1630 to 1900, in Marbaum Hall at the Sackler School of Medicine. The documentary provides an intimate look at the Syrian refugee crisis.
