On 29 May 2017, the Forum on Kurdish Society, History and Culture will host guest speaker Dr. David Pollock, Kaufman fellow at The Washington Institute, for a discussion on the relationship between the Kurds, the United States, and Turkey. In English, Gilman 133 @ 1400. Spaces are limited.

On 5 January 2017, the MDC for Middle Eastern and African Studies will host our annual symposium in honor of three TAU students who were killed while serving in the Israeli Defense Forces. The lecture will be given by Dr. Harel Chorev, with opening remarks by MDC Director Prof. Uzi Rabi. In Hebrew.

Between 2-3 January 2017, the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies will host our partners from the Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a joint conference, entitled, "Israelis and Diaspora Jews: Confronting Secularism and Secularization."
