Memorial Symposium in honor of Erga Segev, z"l (27 June 2016)

On 27 June 2016, the MDC will hold a memorial symposium in honor of Erga Segev, who was a past student of the Department of Middle Eastern and African History at Tel Aviv University. As in previous years, scholarships will be awarded in her name to deserving students. Following the presentation, Mr. Arik Rudnitzky will deliver a lecture entitled, "Network Youth: The Online Revolution in Arab Society in Israel." In Hebrew, from 18:00 in Gilman 133.

Iran, ISIS, and the Middle East - The Unsolved Equation (Symposium)

On 31 May 2016, the MDC will host a symposium discussing the relationship between Iran, ISIS, and the region at large. During the event, several deserving students will receive scholarships from the Halpern Fund for Middle East Studies. In Hebrew, beginning at 18:15 in Gilman 144.

MDC Researcher's Seminar (2 May 2016)

On 2 May 2016, the MDC will hold its bimonthly seminar. Two lectures will be given. The first is by Dr. Itamar Radai, and is entitled, "Arabs In Israel Following the 'Arab Spring.' The second will be given by Mr. Arik Rudnitzky, and entitled "The 'Loyalty and Reform' Party: New Arab Politics?". Both lectures will be in Hebrew.
