Marion Gliksberg (MA in Librarianship, The Hebrew University, Jerusalem, 1989) has served since 1994 as the  library director of the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies. Under her guidance, the library has grown from a small reading room serving the Center's researchers into a nationally-ranked and comprehensive library which has become the main point of entry for students, faculty, and visitors at Tel Aviv University to obtain material about the contemporary and historic Middle East, Islam, terrorism, and many other subjects.

Ms. Gliksberg joined the MDC Library after participating in a number of projects in both Israel and abroad. In 1990, she initiated and planned the digitization project at the Research Authority of Tel Aviv University, and subsequently participated in a two year project at the Sunnyvale, California Public Library, which aimed to archive and catalog the local history of the Bay Area.
