Dr. Rachel Kantz Feder is a researcher at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies and at the Alliance Center for Iranian Studies (ACIS), and a lecturer at the department for Middle Eastern and African Studies at Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Kantz Feder is the author of Revolutionary Shi'i Modernism in Iraq - The Thought and Legacy of Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr (Cambridge University Press, 2026). Her research explores Shi'ism, Iraqi history, and the role of modern psychology in Arab decolonization struggles. She teaches courses on modern Iraq, Islam, and methodology.
