Zachary Fenster

Zach Fenster was  the 2013 AMISTAU recipient. He graduated from Middlebury College in 2012 (Magna Cum Laude), where he studied Middle Eastern History and Arabic. At the MDC, Zach worked with Professor Bruce Maddy-Weitzman to track the relations between North African states and the Amazigh cultural movement. Immediately following his time at the MDC, Zach continued on to become a NIF Shatil Social Justice Fellow.
