In November 2017, the Academic Head of the KAP at the Moshe Dayan Center, Dr. Itamar Radai, delivered a number of academic appearances in the United States. On 12 November, he participated in the conference "Balfour, Partition, and the Six-Day War: Critical Turning Points in Israeli History", which was held at the Taub Center for Israel Studies of New York University (NYU). There, he delivered a talk on the Partition from a Palestinian perspective.
On 16 November 2017, also at NYU, Dr. Radai presented his most recent book, Palestinians in Jerusalem and Jaffa, 1948 (Routledge, 2016, now new on paperback).
Last, but certainly not least, Dr. Radai presented a paper at the 2017 Middle East Studies Association (MESA) annual meeting, held in Washington, D.C. His paper was entitled, "al-Madaniyyat: An Alternative Civic Perception for the Arab minority in Israel."
