Omri Eilat

Dr. Omri Eilat is the director of the research institute at the Druze Heritage Center in Israel and a research and teaching fellow at Haifa University. He completed his doctorate at the Zvi Yavetz School for History at Tel Aviv University under the supervision of Professor Ehud Toledano in 2020. His thesis dealt with the projects and engineering in Syria during the late Ottoman period. During his studies, he headed The Middle East and Islamic Studies Association of Israel (MEISAI).
