Pnina Shuker is the International Programs Coordinator of  the MDC. She directly coordinates the Hiwar Regional Dialogue Forum; the Gulf-Israel Policy Forum and the TAU Workshop. Her doctoral dissertation was written at the Political Science Department of Bar Ilan University, focusing on the perception of the democratic society as sensitive to casualties and its impact on dealing with strategic threats, through comparative analysis between Britain, Israel and the United States. During her studies she won a number of scholarships and awards, including the President’s scholarship for excellence.

Pnina received both her BA and MA specializing in Strategy and National Security at the  Political Science department in Bar Ilan University. Before joining MDC she served as a Neubauer Research Associate at the INSS – Institute for National Security Studies. Today, she serves also as a lecturer in Bar Ilan University and at the Open University.
